When fragile, sixteen-year-old Hope Walton loses her mom to an earthquake overseas, her secluded world crumbles. Agreeing to spend the summer in Scotland, Hope discovers that her mother was more than a brilliant academic, but also a member of a secret society of time travelers. Trapped in the twelfth century in the age of Eleanor of Aquitaine, Hope has seventy-two hours to rescue her mother and get back to their own time. Along the way, her path collides with that of a mysterious boy who could be vital to her mission . . . or the key to Hope’s undoing.      Addictive, romantic, and rich with historical detail, Into the Dim is an Outlander for teens.

I am glad i got the chance to read this much thanks to the awesome publisher!
To be honest i wasn't expecting this at all, it was a very slow start but i kept reading. I was confused as to how the plot would tie in and was waiting for action, we basically get a long introduction in the first pages to the characters but i was screaming for it to move along, i almost didn't finish but curiosity kept me.
Finally towards the middle things get interesting and even though i had an inkling about the big plot i was still excited, we are thrown into a world where a long family line of time traveler exist and Hope the main character is asked to go along on the journey.

Hope is really asked along to help find her mom in time who is stuck in a certain time in history and it is nail biting reading about all the adventures. Hope is the kind of friend, daughter you want with you all the time, whatever your fault she will stick with you no matter what. She risked her life for her mother when she lied her whole life.

I love time travel when done right and historic fantasy? Check!
Perfect Blend of Sci Fi and Romance and some moments where i went AWWWW!

You will love this book as much as i did!

I give Into the Dim Four Crowns for an epic plot that kept me on the edge of my seat.
